Before you go…

  •  AVOID FROZEN PIPES:

    •  Turn down the heat, but no less than 50°

    •  Drip a cold faucet slowly. It’ll cost you about $2 if you pay for water, but could save your pipes.

  •  Take out the trash & don’t leave fresh food behind.

  •  Test smoke alarms.

  •  Check for fire hazards: stove/oven, candles, irons, hair curlers, space heaters, loose plugs…

  •  Check all the windows & doors - lock up and close curtains.
